Financial Aid

See how we helped ex-serviceman Chris Tandy gain a UKCC Level 2 rugby coaching qualification together with covering a month’s bills while he recovered from an unfortunate rugby injury that saw him hit a real low point after transitioning from Army life.

The purpose of the Rugby for Heroes grant programme is to provide support to servicemen and women during the challenging transition from military to civilian life. Whether help is needed to start your own business, undertake further education, or perhaps just to cover the bills post injury, we are here to help.

The programme is open to both individuals and military charity organisations that meet the eligibility criteria outlined in the guidance notes below.

Our trustees review all grant applications on a quarterly basis. After careful consideration of each application, the charity will then determine what level of support can be offered.

Grants

After being medically discharged from the Army following 22 years of service, Darren Jones needed our support. Our grant has helped Darren start the build of a sensory room that will enable him to continue his treatment in his own space. We look forward to sharing more updates as the build progresses.
