On behalf of everyone involved with Rugby for Heroes I would like to express our deepest sense of shock and sadness at the news of the passing of Lee Cole. Lee was a stalwart of the Charity having been one of the first candidates to qualify through our Transition Through Rugby course since when he had worked tirelessly on all subsequent courses to share his experiences and assist others with their transition process. Lee’s passion for & commitment to assisting others were evident and extended beyond everything he contributed to Rugby for Heroes to include the work he did assisting Blind Veterans.
The Rugby for Heroes family mourns the loss of a true gent who served his country and in later life continued to serve and assist others and who’s infectious smile and personality will be missed by us all.
We extend our deepest sympathy and condolences to all of Lee’s family, friends and loved ones at this most difficult of times but at the same time offer a pledge that his legacy will live once in all the work that the Charity undertakes.
Rest in peace soldier.
