Why battle of the balls?

It is a unique sporting event that brings together our celebrity team to raise funds for our charity. Their mission is to make a positive sporting impact, combining the thrill of ball sports with the power of raising much-needed funds for the charity and the causes we champion.

Professional sports can take a heavy toll on the body after years of playing at the highest levels, but retirement doesn’t mean the players have any less heart when it comes to wanting to win. During their downtime, they enjoy playing several alternative sports outside of their chosen profession, such as golf, football and cricket to mention just a few.

An idea was formed to create a team of ex-rugby players to play against teams made of similar ex-professional players in other ball sports, but the twist is they play them on their home turf and at their own sport too.

Our squad is looking to take on more challenges as they continue to offer up to their decerning fans – the Ball of the Balls.

How does the Battle of the Balls raise money for charitable causes?

One of the great things about the Battle of the Balls is that it brings together celebrities who might not otherwise work together. This event is an opportunity for actors, athletes, and musicians to collaborate and share their talents for a common cause. It’s also a chance for fans to see their favorite celebrities in a different light, as they compete on the court or field rather than performing on stage or screen.

The atmosphere is electric, with cheering, chanting, and high-fives being exchanged throughout the day. It’s a great opportunity for families and friends to come together and enjoy a day of sports, entertainment, and giving back to the community.
