Business Ambassadors
Meet the our Business Ambassadors, who all give up their free time and are proud to help Rugby for Heroes provide so much help raising funds and creating awareness for military personnel who are making the transition to civilian life.
George Bromley
George Bromley is a serving officer in the Corps of Royal Engineers. Coming from Bath, Somerset, he has completed multiple events for the charity including Solo Beeline Britain; where he was the first person in history to straight-line Great Britain with no support. Outside of normal duties to the Crown he supports youth rugby and international projects, mainly based around Europe and the Middle-East. A keen rugby player having played international matches and semi-professional games until a neck injury in 2019. George is passionate about providing military styled adventures and challenges to those outside of the military as a way to bridge the gap of service and charity work. George works routinely with international organisations and foreign dignitaries and acts as an ambassador for Britain in everything that he does. George has been an active member of Rugby For Heroes since 2020. He has raised money through personal challenges, organised events and is often instrumental in the planning of the majority of events; being the military and adventure link.
Paul Tug Hartley
He deployed 3 times to Afghanistan, Oman, Lebanon and completed a number of exercises and training operations worldwide. Paul “TUG” Hartley was awarded the George Medal for Gallantry whilst serving on Op Herrick 4 with the 3 Para Battle Group for actions at the Kajaki Dam on 06/09/2006.
