Course Veterans

SSgt – 10 Signal Regt.

BULA everyone.
I found the course to be thoroughly enjoyable; it was an amazing week spent with amazing people. I acquired a wealth of knowledge that challenged my preconceived notions regarding a great sport such as Rugby. I am grateful to the educators from the RFU for the comprehensive and illuminating course of instructions. Their practical examples and considerate approach facilitated my comprehension of the safety aspects of the game. Finally, I would like to extend my gratitude to Team Lamby for their exceptional work. Their commitment and diligence were indispensable in cordinating these courses. I truly appreciate their dedication in organising venues, meals, etc, and most importantly, it is the charity event that brings community together to enable future courses to happen.

Rugby For Heroes, a local charity supporting service personnel as they transition into civilian life, has joined forces with businesses in Gloucester and Cheltenham to host Beyond the Uniform, an inaugural networking event for ex-military professionals. The event took place at The Roastery in Quedgeley Business Park, bringing together key figures from the business community to create career pathways for veterans.
