The former Great Britain legend and ex-South Africa international will play in Rugby Aid XV’s match against an Army Masters side, opposite Sixways, on Saturday, March 12 (11.45am).
The special event, which takes place the same day as Warriors’ crunch home clash with Gloucester in the Aviva Premiership, has been put on to raise funds for Rugby for Heroes and will see celebrities such as actor Julian Lewis Jones and sprinter Jamie Baulch take part.
Samoa’s Terry Fanolua and brothers Robbie and Henry Paul are also set to feature, while Warriors’ record appearance-maker Craig Gillies will be dusting off his boots to make a return to action.
Entry to the game costs £5 per person on the gate on matchday, with all funds going to Rugby for Heroes. There will also be refreshments available at the game.
To support the charity, people are being encouraged to text RUGBY AID to 70700 to donate £5.
