Family Day

Members of the Rugby For Heroes volunteer force recently took part in fund raising events at RAF Northolt and RAF Odiham family days selling Merchandise and raising awareness of our new transition coaching course.

heli-planeThe role of RAF Northolt is primarily to facilitate the handling of military personnel of British and Foreign armed forces also many civilian VIPs and celebrities who enjoy the privacy and first-class passenger handling service available.
At the end of 2011 the Government announced that RAF Northolt was to be the forward base for Typhoon fast jets and other military elements providing security to the London.

heli2RAF Odiham is home to the mighty Chinook helicopter transport fleet providing rapid mobility world-wide for all three British armed forces. It also hosts an elite Army Air Corps Lynx helicopter squadron.

Both events raised a combined total of £837 which will go towards supporting our troops.
